Natural beach:
Cala Presili

The medium-sized cove of Cala Presili - also known as Platja de Capifort - is the first beach located on the southern side of Cap de Faváritx.

It is surrounded by a lunar-like landscape formed by black slates and lies within the Natural Park of Parque Natural de S'Albufera.

It is located between two capes, 17 kilometers from Mahón.

Cala Presili is a pristine sandy beach which opens to a wide turquoise bay.

Nude bathing is accepted altough it is not official a nudist beach.

Getting there

By car and on foot.

If you come from Es Mercadal or Alaior, take the secondary parallel road (ME-7) towards Cap de Faváritx.

Keep on going towards Faváritx until you get to a smaller road, the Cf1, and follow that road to the end.

Leave your vehicle on the side of the road before the lighthouse.

Look for a sign on the right that indicates the camí de cavalls. Then follow this former bridleway to a turn off before the end for Cala Presili. (Going straight on would lead you to Cala Tortuga).

It is an easy walking track and it will take you about 20 minutes to get there.
