Cycling on Menorca:
From Maó
to Es Grau

Distance: 9 kilometres.

Duration: 45 to 60 minutes.

State of trail: Paved. It goes uphill and downhill from time to time, yet these streches are short, although quite proncounced.

You have several options:

You might go through the abandoned golf resort Shangri-là and then enjoy the southern part of the Albufera Nature Reserve.

Or you keep on going until the centre of the village Es Grau.
A bit further on there is an unpaved road to the left, starting at a bridge.

This rural way leads through a pine wood and ends at the beach of Es Grau.

If you wish to observe birds, this would be your preferred option.
