Urban beach:
Calan BlanesThese 40 metres of beach are amongst the most-popular on Menorca. The beach itself is one of the smallest; it is situated 3 kilometers from Ciutadella and very well-equipped with infrastructure services and facilities. There is a palm grove on the sand which provides a bit of shade.
Accomodation:
Except for a couple of fair-sized hotels such as the Roc Hotel, accomodation is maily self-catering apartments and privately-owned villas (see below).
Getting there:
The airport is about 50 kilometers away.
Take the main Me-1 across the island and shortly before Ciutadella turn onto the newly-constructed northern by-pass, the Ronda Nord.
The journey from the airport should take about 1 hour.
Nearby:
Cala'n Blanes has now merged to form one resort with Cala'n Forcat (about 20 minutes away) and Los Delfines.
For scuba-divers, the Cap de Menorca might be attractive.
Activities:
There are numerous activities and sports such as glass-bottom boat trips and crazy golf.
There is also a large selection of shops, bars and restaurants as well as a
water park. 
Horse racing
Every Sunday at 6.00 p.m. at the Torre del Ram racecourse ("hipódromo").
