Archeology:
Sa Torreta de Tramuntana

This taula stands at Menorca's north coast, in the Faváritx area, only a few kilometres from Maó.

It has a straight façade - not a concave one like others.

The precint is small, but contains all the characteristic elements of a prehistoric sanctuary:

  • lateral pilars
  • 2 wall niches
  • a free-standing pilar
  • flanking stones

It is the only prehistoric village know of in the north of the island.

The conservation status of all the rests are very high.
